The big sister blog,
SwankyPeach, was born out of my associate fashion/beauty editor position with
Destination Weddings & Honeymoons magazine about five years ago. I was travelling all over the place visiting beautiful wedding and honeymoon resorts on press trips and for photo shoots and I wrote the blog so my close friends and family could keep up with my adventures and see pictures without me having to tell my stories over and over and over again. SP evolved into all sorts of things since — most importantly — the SwankyPeach brand. This was not intentional at all, but I'll take it! So many friends and colleagues say "You've totally created a brand without even knowing it!"
So after about three years here in Charlotte, working with various publications, industries and brides — I'm working harder than ever on my bridal styling business, SwankyBride.
